Guest Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Hi, Just wondering instead of a pop up image appearing in a new window, is there any way of putting in a video / movie ? Cheers
Guest Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Why not just embed the video in the product description? That'd make things a lot easier than hacking the code. We just add a little link to our videos page on the bottom of all the products that have videos. They link to http://www.speedwing.net/videos.php
Guest Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Yeah but I need to be able to add a different vidoe each time for each different product, I want it o display as a smal image but when clicked to open into a larger image it plays a video instead
chooch Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Yeah but I need to be able to add a different vidoe each time for each different product, I want it o display as a smal image but when clicked to open into a larger image it plays a video instead Do you intend to use flash videos or specific WM, real, quicktime? Anyway without too much hassle it can certainly be done with a little imagination and patience. Unfortunately if you're not a programmer youself then i guess you'll have to pay someone to do it. Upon receiving fixes and advice, too many people don't bother to post updates informing the forum of how it went. Until of course they need help again on other issues and they come running back! Why receive the information you require in good faith for free, only to then have the attitude to ignore the people who gave it to you? There's no harm in saying, 'Thanks, it worked'. On the contrary, it creates a better atmosphere. CHOOCH

web-project Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 i really looking into this idea!! anyone know where can i find ? I looked before & couldn't find sort of contribution, but I recommend to use the TinyMCE editor and divshare.com service as they can convert video files into flash and you can paste code(the same as youtube.com or google video) into your shop without any ads. Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
