New install problems

I just did a fresh install with osCommerce. This is not my first time messing with osCommerce, but it's the first time i've had so many complications.

 

First, When i go into Admin, and then click on My Store in order to modify the owner, phone number, etc...i can't do anything. I click "Edit" and it brings me to this screen:

 

 

It really doesn't even look right to me. I'm thinking something got really screwed up during the upload. It's happened in the past, and I just don't understand why files are getting messed up and mismatched whenever I upload.

 

One of those buttons should say "New Category", not "New Country"...right?!

 

and you also see that it says "TEXT_CATEGORIES" rather than "Categories":

it also says "TEXT_PRODUCTS" but it should say "Products"

 

I think there's a file mix up...i don't know which file..help is appreciated :)

OK i've fixed the main problem, I am able to edit now.

 

I basically re-uploaded the entire Admin folder and overwrote the more than likely corrupted files.

 

Now i'm still fighting with where it says "New Country", but should say "New Category".

All problems seemed to be solved. Something screwy happened while i was uploading and it was all within the Admin folder.

 

Re-uploading everything seemed to fix the quirkyness
