What do you mean transfer? From the Site to the hard Drive or what? Wade Morris Amarillo, Texas Before you do any changes on your site you need to do BACKUP! BACKUP!
nvedia Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 1. You copy all the files to the server. 2. Copy database to the database server on another server by importing from phpmyadmin 3. Change the values in include/configure.php and admin/include/configure.php Check if everything works well, just relax ! :)
SeanB Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Most people would consider the sale of a website that makes money, the same as selling a business. I dont recomend you move anything. Just sell the hosting, domain, and everything linked to it. On the day of the sale, just give them the admin passwords like you were giving them the keys. My website's address is in My Profile, since it's not allowed to be in my signature.
