Misc errors when using SSL

I'm having a couple errors when I use SSL. see the error details and contents from configure.php below

My host is using a shared certificate.

Shop site: http://www.emeraldcoastkiteboarding.com/oscommerce/

Errors:

1. When SSL is used, some users are not able to add products to their shopping cart, it takes them to the cart page, but there are no contents.

2. When SSL is used, you can create an account, but when you try to re-login, it won't take you to the page that lets you modify your account, etc. when SSL is not used this doesn't happen.

configure.php

<?php

// Please, note that all changes in this file will be lost

// after reconfiguring application by Plesk

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://emeraldcoastkiteboarding.com');

define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://emeraldcoastkiteboarding.com');

define('ENABLE_SSL', 'true');

define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'emeraldcoastkiteboarding.com');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'emeraldcoastkiteboarding.com');

define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/oscommerce/');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '/oscommerce/');

define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/oscommerce/');

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/oscommerce/');

define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');

define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/');

define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');

define('DIR_WS_BOXES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'boxes/');

define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'functions/');

define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/');

define('DIR_WS_MODULES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'modules/');

define('DIR_WS_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'languages/');

define('DIR_WS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', 'pub/');

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', dirname($HTTP_SERVER_VARS['SCRIPT_FILENAME']));

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'download/');

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'pub/');

Any help is greatly appreciated, I've looked through the SSL Knowledge DB, but didn't find anything that might offer a solution.

Thanks,

LFkiter

I tried that, but you need the / in order for the link to work.

anyone else have any ideas ?

I would guess the:

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/oscommerce/');

would need to be:

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', 'oscommerce/');

anyone get a chance to look at this ? i think i'm going to have to switch hosts for everything to work. seems like i've tried all my options.

Hi, just to check with you on the create acount problem. I have a problem like this: -

1. Customer creates account, and all is fine.

2. Customer comes back to re-login...the next page shows 404 error and also it cannot access URL /catalog/ because it is reading from the root - yourhost/catalog/

where in fact your catalog is probably at yourhost/~yourwebsite/catalog

Wonder if your experience is the same?

it's a similar problem, but when you go to re-login, you don't get a 404 error, you just don't go anywhere. this only happens when I'm using SSL. i can't figure it out ? anyone else have a prob like this ??

Did you solve that problem? I´ve just same problem now and i´m pretty hopeless.

-When re-login you get blank page. If you refresh that blank page you get back to login page with notice

"Your username and password doesn´t match"

But infacts you are logged in anyway. Your cart, shopping history etc. can be found.

How to get over that blank page problem?
