NathanLedet Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I'm working on Yahoo hosting for the first time for a client who would rather stay on Yahoo hosting (although i've tried suggesting cheaper and much better alternatives). I'm trying up upload osCommerce, and I guess Yahoo hosting does not allow .htaccess or .cvsignore files on their server. They will not upload. Here's a screenshot of my FTP program: How relevant are these files to the operation of osCommerce? If they're not uploaded, will it pose security risks? Suggestions or advice is very much appreciated. Thanks
Guest Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Could you just rename them to something like htaccess.txt, upload them, then rename them back? It's a little painful since you have to repeat for all instances but it might at least get you around your problem.
NathanLedet Posted November 21, 2006 Author Posted November 21, 2006 No that did not work but thank you for the suggestion.
