Guest Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Hi, I work for a publishing company and hence we sell books. (Go figure.) I've set up OSC and would like to be able to place a field under the title of the product or book that will display the author's name. I can create the field without a problem, but is there a contribution or some way of getting the field to show up under the title when the product is first displayed to the customer? Thanks in advance.
natewlew Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I am not sure what you are saying? Do you mean you already got it to display in the product_info.php but you would also like it in the index.php (the product listing)? Other great Open Source (Free) programs: (Free as in free speech not free beer) The Gimp - An image program. | Firefox - All you have to do is add the Web Developer add-on to make this web browser complete. | FileZilla - An ftp program. | Inkscape - A good program to create images with. | Thunderbird - An email program. | Openoffice.org - An office suite that is compatible with MS Office. | Abiword - Another office suite. | Audacity - A sound recording tool. | ddp's Picks | Wordpress - An easy to use blogging software. | Joomla - An easy to use CMS that has ecommerce plug-ins. | Drupal - Another CMS How do I find these programs? Google Search!
Guest Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 What I meant by creating the field is I can create the field in the database without a problem. But how do I get that field to show up on the first page the user sees the product on? (Main page, search page, etc.)
