warleb Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I have a number of suppliers for products on my online store and getting stock availability is only possible by logging into my suppliers site with a user and password, navigating to the product in question and then checking the 'in stock or 'no stock' field. Is there a way that when I list the particuler product on my website I also create a new field where the product url from my suppliers site is. Then somehow query the supplier site from the stored url in my database to grab the 'in stock ' no stock' information to then update my product page. For instance only run the query if someone looks at the product. The fact that it may be possible would be a good start. Anyone know if this ispossible? I don't bother doing backups. I love the thrill of screwing it all up!
