Can I and hwo do I remove http so that only https is available now that my SSL is working

Hi

 

I have the ssl working but if someone searches under www.mysite.com then they are directed to http not https. Have I not configured my files properly?? :(

I have worked it out now!!

 

Hey!!

 

You don't need it for the whole site. Most of the site should not be https it should be http.

The ssl certificate is only for loging into customer accounts and for checkout.

Backup before making changes. Backup before making changes! Backup before making changes!!

 

You did do a backup? eh?

:blush: Thanks Michael, that is exactly what I realised - I am only new to this. This being my first site that i have ever done - STEEP learning cureve. But I am loving and feel prowd of my achievements as I have no IT qualifications..
