jippybeale Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Can someone please tell me how to stop the small thumbnail images, for example in the New Products box, stretching out of shape? For example, if I upload an image that is rectangular, the thumbnail gets stretched/squashed into a square and completely distortes the picture! As shown below: (the bag in the bottom left corner shouldnt be as wide as it is tall!) Is there an option in the admin to stop this from happening? Or is there any other way of stopping it? Thanks in advance.
glamourfish Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 all you need to do is make sure that your small image width & height is set at the same ratio as that of your full size images. EG, if they're set at height: 100 & width: 50, then your full size image should be something in the same ratio, such as 300px by 150px. The best might be too keep your images square, then set your width & height to be the same. This will resolve your problem. if at first you do succeed...try not to look surprised!
