I am new to OsCommerce, I have been looking for a way (specifically a contribution) that would allow me to automatically send a vendor a precreated email ordering replacement stock based on a stock threshhold being reached IE: qty = > 10 action = send mail.

I only want this to happen once so that when stock reaches 9,8,7,etc.. the vendor does not recieve a new email each time. Has anyone seen a contribution like this, or know how to modify a contrib or attribute to attain this result?

The problem is how to only send it as the stock level falls below the re-order level.

 

Looks like product needs some new fields.

 

ROL

ROQ

 

Would need to only send the email if the stock level is LT ROL and stock level after order + order QTY GT ROL.
