'Order has been delivered' mail- how to change?

Hope someone can help, I keep having customers get confused by the default email that gets sent when the order has been processed (the one they get automatically on placing the order is fine, the pending one that shows I am working on it is fine, its the once that gets sent when I update the status to 'delivered'). They keep thinking it means it has been delivered to them, rather than put ino the post, so I want to alter the text to make it clear. However I can't work out where the file lives or what it is called.


Can anyone point me in the right direction?

We had the same issue.


To change that is a tough one to find. Goto your Administration page and click the "Localization" page. On the left-side menu click Order Status. This is where you can rename "Delivered" to "Shipped", which pretty much just means it's left your location.


BTW - as long as you're there, you may want to create a new item called "Cancelled", for orders that get cancelled. We needed that too.
