I'm testing my webshop and I messed up I'm afraid...

as I am a total newbie I'm glad to manage the shop as far as it is, but I did something that ruined it all, and I don't know what...

Every time there is a button like ' add to cart' or send 'E-mail' or whatever action I try it results always in a blank screen... The strange thing is that the actual action is executed ... so for example the E-mail is send... or the item is added to the cart, or you are actually logged in...

Can somebody have a look... I've opened all the permissions so you guy's and girls can see the whole oscommerce as I do... The store is not 'active' so placing orders won't do a thing... ;-) let's call it a test phase... and if I can't solve the problem I'll have to start from scratch anyway...

The URL for the store is http://www.image-sound.com/catalog/

Thanks in advance

It looks as though you are not carrying a SID. I don't know if this is the problem, a symptom or something else.

That is the Session ID #, which I am very unfamiliar with. What I did notice between your button properties and mine is as follows.

yours: includes/languages/english/images/buttons/button_in_cart.gif

mine: includes/languages/english/images/buttons/button_in_cart.gif?osCsid=d790e2042dd8c0f6e889115d7cdcb06e

Again, I don't know if this is a problem, but it might be a place to look. In your Admin Panel/Configuration/Sessions see if you have a tmp directory and that you have that directory in your domain.

There was no tmp folder anywhere... I made one in /catalog... but it does not do a thing...

The fact is that as soon there is an action (like /login.php?action=process) behind the URL the white page appears in the browser... no mather what browser I use (Firefox/IE/Safari)

I'm now searching the net for the Session ID stuff... hope I can find something...

Thanks for thinking along...

Avec, you started me thinking in the direction of the language files... and as you can guess, there is something wrong in one of the (edited) language files, as I changed the languages-folder by the original in the osCommerce delivery en the actions work as it should...

It's gonna be a long night...

Thanks again

Pedro
