Blocked Content in Internet Explorer using SSL

Ive just setup and enabled SSL, which seems to be working fine in terms of checking out, etc, with the exception that if I test the site in Internet Explorer, I get the little Information Bar roll down saying "IE has blocked this website from displaying non-secure content", and none of the images show on the page (only text). If I click it and select Display Blocked Content, my Secure Padlock disappears (although the https remains in the address). The same thing then happens on each secure page I visit.

Ive tested in Safari and it works fine.

Any ideas why this would be happening?

It sounds like your shop is loading the pictures from an insuecure area. If you right click on the picture and look at the properties is the address of the image a secure address? As far as I know OSC should automatically load them from a secure location, the same way it automatically starts using a Secure connection when you log in.

I hope you can clarify

Hi egattocs,

I think you are right, I just checked the image properties and they only say http, not https. So the next question is why would this be happening and how do I fix it?!

When I initially installed OSC I didnt enable SSL, so could it be something to do with that?

You might want to check your configure.php files and check that the https addresses are correct in there. I'm not sure if that is where the problem is, as I haven't encountered it myself.

Just take a look in your configure files and check that all the secure feilds have a secure address/directory in them.

I hope that helps. If not, I hope somebody else has some ideas?
