robin7707 Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Hi Everyone, I tried to search this problem but didn't come up with much. I know there is an open case for a bug about my issue, but it's been open for a while and nothing further posted. So thought i'd try here. When i run a test purchase on my site, I can see my shopping cart, with all the items listed that have been placed there. However, upon clicking the checkout button, I get a 404 error saying that the page does not exist. My first thought was that their had to be a link missing or wrong somewhere. But not knowing alot about coding, i couldn't come up with much. From looking at other live OScommerce shops, I believe the page i should be directed to when i click that button is login.php but i get no where. My login.php file is intact and in place, as far as i can tell. I have no idea where to even start to look for this link, though i thought maybe in the mydomain.com/catalog/shopping_cart.php but i couldnt' find it there either. Please let me know if you need more info. Thanks for the help. Myabe i missed the boat completely and need to install something else. Wouldn't surprise me! lol My site is www.tanatlize.ca/catalog if you want to take a look. Ignore all the stuff that needs to be changed. I'm just trying to figure my way around OScommerce before i get to the other things. Thanks again.
robin7707 Posted November 19, 2006 Author Posted November 19, 2006 Okay...so I'm too frustrated to give up and go to bed. With further looking, it appears that it should take me to checkout_shipping.php by clicking on that button, and redirect me to login.php if i'm not already logged in. But still doing netiher. My checkout_shipping.php file is also there and should be available. Any ideas would be more than appreciated. Thanks again.
Guest Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 You have configured your store for SSL but dont have a certificate for your domain - set the SSL domain to your shared path or purchase a cert for your domain Sonia
robin7707 Posted November 20, 2006 Author Posted November 20, 2006 Sonia, Thanks for responding. I just wanted to check, before i attempt to do something, that if i have a SSL certificate and set that up that this should cure the issue? that was what you were saying right? see again, too many hours staring at a computer screen. My brain has gone fuzzy. Thanks again.
