why cant I add an url to the product?

You know under the product information you can add an url to the homepage but it doesnt really work for me, look what I get:

http://shop/1/redirect.php?action=url&goto=www.apple.com

Then I auto download the page, on another site it just says:

http://http//www.example.se/shop/2/redirec...26082e566446243

Your URLs are incorrectly formatted. There is extra "http"s in the URL. Remove those to begin with.

But the only thing I wrote in the url is www.apple.com

You are creating the link incorrectly. Try posting the code you are using here (just the link part) so someone can look at it.

I havent changed anything in it, its always been like this. Maybe I have to change something in configure.php

I didn't add any code, its the text under each product that says something like this:

For more information, click here

 

and when you add a new product it says "product url, without http://"

Oh, I misunderstood you. The code for the link is added in the product edit page and should not contain http://. Just enter the domain name and any sub-directory or page needed.

I reinstalled one of the shops yesterday and it works fine.. wonder why I get the problem on the first two shops..
