A strange problem

Hello,

Recently I have been modifying my osc and to tell you the truth i have heavily modded , recently after i did some changes, all on a sudden when i placed an order on my test site , it started giving me random products into my shopping cart, everything goes well till the checkout confirmation, but when i check the email i get also on my order history i see products which i dint order, and twice the delivery charges and twice the taxes. and in the admin i can see two orders placed under same order id. and in the emails too

So out of fruturations, and not knowing wht i did wrong, i did the system restore in my windows machine to the day before i made the last changes, and after that i checked my files to see if any changes i did has been reverted and nothing has been reverted, and but now the orders works well, there are not multiple orders or nor random products in the cart...

to add to this fiction...i ran the error copy of osc again and guess what even that works fine...so wht was the error where was it, and will it come back....i dont know!

is this a problem with database or osc or somthing to do with system , my huntch was somhow a cache memory stores some products in osc and puts that in orders.. what do you guys think

This indicates to me more of a problem with the database. A system restore would have fixed the database issues, and your code from after the system restore still works because your database has been fixed.

Yes i believe thats the problem, what was happening was some how when i delete an order,

the database table order_status_history and order_total, holds the values and still replicated into a new order, which used the same order number... finally ok now since i know wht the problem is
