Is there a way to add a Phone Number Field in Shopping Cart?

Does anyone know how to add a field for telephone numbers to be required in the shopping cart for the recipient address? The buyer has to put their phone number, but the delivery address does not have a place for a phone number. Since we sell gift baskets, most all of our orders are being shipped to someone other than the buyer and our shippers need phone numbers for delivery purposes. Up to now, I just have been using the buyer's phone number. But that's not helpful when the shipper is trying to make a delivery. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance. I figured out a quick fix to trick the system so to speak. In the recipient address, there is a field titled "Suburb". I went into the english.php file and changed the text title of that field to read "Telephone Number." Now it shows up on the order form as Telephone Number and still functions without having to make a bunch of other code changes. No one ever sees the word Suburb anywhere anyway, so this was a quick, easy way to get the phone number rather than a suburb. Of course, you have to have suburb field set as true in your Customer Details section of admin panel.
