sulphy Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Hi, I'm very new to OsCommerce so i'm still getting used to the program. I have a quick and hopefully simple question for you all with regards to CC payments via SecPay. From what I understand to be correct, a company is not allowed to release payments on a CC if the product ordered is not in stock. With this in mind I wanted to see if it was possible via OsCommerce to 'release' payments on orders. However I can't see any indication that payments are or can be put on a 'pending release' status. Currently our existing process is a customer orders a product, we review the order (comes in as pending release if CC was authorised by SecPay), once accepted we releae the payments via our order management software and the funds are taken off the card. Being able to do this through the order management software means we don't have to keep logging into SecPay to release every successfull payment we get.
