Link Manager Problem (1.14) Fatal Error

After I put the files in place I went to the links_setup.php and got this error:

 

Looks like Links Manager is already installed. Aborting...

 

Then I go to the links.php page and get this:

 

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tep_show_category() (previously declared in /home/jinxccg/public_html/includes/header.php:175) in /home/jinxccg/public_html/includes/boxes/categories.php on line 59

 

I read somewhere I can get around this with editing the general.php, anyone know what to do and where?

You must have tried to run the links setup twice to get that error.
