How do i remove unwanted logo's

Noob question, how do i go about removing unwanted gif pics or replace them with a blank image to hide them such as header_account.gif.

 

Im currently using oscommerce version 2.2 MS2 if that makes any difference.

 

Im new to this so please be gentle :D

Any information would be greatly appreciated thanks

easiest way is to get a transparent blank gif and save as the name of the image you do not want
