bustin98
I'm struggling with this, too. I think I may end up doing a SESSION protection and an addition to the database with a 'user' table to store users and passwords. I tried changing permissions on the directory but it doesn't work. But I'll keep plugging away and if I find out what works I'll pass it on.
dittones
Rburns, A quick and sure way to secure your Admin side right now is to rename the admin dir to something else and change the name in the configure.php to reflect the new name... The new name path will only be known to you and anyone else you tell... This should quickly get you protected untill you have a perm fix... In the contribution their is a contrabution to set up an admin user/login login... I hope this helps dittone.com Roman
egattocs
The contribution I think Roman was talking about can be found here: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4121 I've not used it myself, but it should do the job you want it to. I hope that helps. Scott
