remove track item on order confirmation

hi all,

 

i was just wondering how i can remove the check box for track item in the checkout_ confirmation page as i have found that if the checkbox is not ticked then when the user clicks on the continue button a stop error occurs as no data is able to be extrapalated to the db i.e ''; 'item' where as i think there should be some data to go in i.e '0'; 'item'. even better if someone is a wizard with php/ mysql how can i make the default data entry for this box set to 0.
