How Do I BOLD Text?

Azure Moon

Recommended Posts

Hi!

Yet another stupid question...sorry. How do I bold text on my web site?

Many Blessings,

Azure Moon

Simple html tags ... <b>anything between these tags will be bold</b>

<b>starts the bold print and </b> ends it. You can also use <i> and </i> for italic for emphasis and you can use both together for bold and italic (example <b><i>bold italic here</b></i>.

Read a book or online tutorial on basic HTML and CSS formatting. In answer to your question - <b></b> tags will do the job:

<b>this will be bold text</b>

or you could do it via your stylesheet e.g:-

TD.headerNavigation {

font-family: Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;

font-size: 10px;

background: #bbc3d3;

color: #ffffff;

font-weight : bold;

}

Hi Kathy!

Thank you so much! I'm just starting out with OsCommerce and a new web site and frankly, my brain is fried! Thanks for saving what is left!

Many Blessings,
