smallcarp
Despite repeated efforts, I cannot get the backup file to be recognized. I am continually told it does not exist. I have created the empty file in admin named backups. I have verified that the configure.php file points to it. Nevertheless, I continue to get the same error message about the non existance of the file. BTW ... Permissions are wide open. Any thoughts on this matter? Thanks. Daemonj
Did you create an admin/backups file or folder? It should be a folder with 777 permissions. If you are running your admin in SSL mode and your secure files are stored in a different location from your non-secure files ensure that you are in the correct folder. spax
Just for the sake of clarity, you have created a directory named backups? Rather than a file.

Daemonj
Delete the file and create an admin/backups *folder* with 755 permissions. spax
You need to create an empty folder in admin and name it backups - not a file.
