what exactly do you mean?

how it works is all through mysql the auto increment value.

if you want it to start at a higher number you could add the specified number of records, and delete them afterwards. It will then continue counting from that value.

execute code that would be something like:

<?php
require('includes/application_top.php');
while($n=0, $x=123456789; $n<$x; $n++){
tep_db_query("INSERT INTO ". TABLE_ORDERS ." (customers_name) VALUES ('DELETE_ME')"):
}
tep_db_query("DELETE FROM orders where customers_name = 'DELETE_ME'"):
php require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'footer.php');
?>

and change all the values acording to your wishes

change X to a number you require and set

best way to safely try this is to have a backup, or perhaps a second instalation of oscommerce (with second database).

in that case you can only mess up the second instalation.

the code I gave in the previous post would then have to be saved as a new php file, uploaded to your server, and you would then need to visit that page.

It would return a completely blank page, but would still be excecuting the code.
