Need help on a couple of small things

Hi everyone;

Hope you had a great weekend. I have a couple of questions on things that

I am trying to get sorted out. Instead of doing seperate posts, I thought I'd

list together to save space, so here goes :

#1 - I've created 5 new pages for my site, a couple to be accessed via a

click here and the other 2 to be listed in the info box. First snag ...

2 of the pages are for some reason misaligned as you can see on

this page http://ladykdelights.com/cart/why_soy.php How can I

correct this? Also, I've noticed an odd thing with this page and 1

other ... the font size keeps changing. On the page above you can

see how large the text is. I went into the page itself and the font is

set to 12pt, which is a pretty normal size. It only effects the new pages

that I have made via Frontpage so that I can get the codeing. Could

useing Frontpage be the problem?

#2 - 2 pages that I built I need to list in the information box. I've followed

all the steps via a tuturial, however they are not showing up in the info

box. I double checked the steps and I don't see where I missed any.

Suggestions?

#3 - Does anyone have a full, working version of the Actual Attributes contrib

or a suggestion on another full version contrib that has the same features?

#4 - I know that I have seen this answer before wadeing through info here, but

for the life of me, I can't seem to find it now. With the Continue button -

how and where can I set the breadcrumb trail so that the Continue

button will re-direct back to the previous page instead of going back to the

index page?

Well, those are my problems to try and solve for today. Until I run into more of

course lol. If anyone has any help to offer, suggestions etc, please let me know.

Thanks as always for your help,

Karen

For question 1) try this

<table border="0" width="80%" cellspacing="3" cellpadding="3">
 <tr>
<td width="125" valign="top"><table border="0" width="125" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2">
<!-- left_navigation //-->

change table width to 100% in first line

2) create a class in your stylesheet called f12pt and define the font size to 12pt and see if that will change it.

Doing it that way you should not have to edit all your code. do the same for the other font sizes you have declared.

Hi Bill;

Thank you very much for your reply. I tried your suggestion, but it just widened

the info boxes. Do you know how I can move the boxes over in the left margin

so they are aligned with the rest of the site pages? I think I finally conquered the

font issue. I hope lol.

Thanks hon,

Karen

Sorry for the late reply.

In the previous post find that code and above that is a DIV tag. Try align="left" or remove it completly to see if that helps.

To link your pages in the information box use this code in catalog/includes/boxes/information.php (I will use Why_soy.php as an example.

  $info_box_contents = array();
 $info_box_contents[] = array('text' => '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_SHIPPING) . '">' . BOX_INFORMATION_SHIPPING . '</a><br>' .
									 '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_PRIVACY) . '">' . BOX_INFORMATION_PRIVACY . '</a><br>' .
									 '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_CONDITIONS) . '">' . BOX_INFORMATION_CONDITIONS . '</a><br>' .
									 '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_WHY_SOY) . '">' . BOX_INFORMATION_WHY_SOY . '</a><br>' .
									 '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_CONTACT_US) . '">' . BOX_INFORMATION_CONTACT . '</a>');

You can put it in any order as long as the last lint ends with ;

.Make sure in catalog/includes/languages/english.php you have this:

define('BOX_INFORMATION_WHY_SOY', 'Why Soy');

Then in catalog/includes/filenames.php have this:

Right after

define('FILENAME_UPCOMING_PRODUCTS', 'upcoming_products.php');

ADD

define('FILENAME_WHY_SOY', 'why_soy.php');

Maybe repost the other questions for responses. Hope these suggestions help

Hi Bill and Mark;

Very sorry for my late reply. This has been first chance I've had to dive back

into this.

Bill ----- Major Hugs !! Your tricks worked perfect. I needed to do a little tweaking

of code for the links in the Info Box ... and TA DAH ... both now show in the box.

I also fixed the div align to left instead of center. Now all my pages even.

Thanks again very, very much for your help. I'll repost my other questions and

try to get these other snags figured out. Happy Dance .. so far today is a good

day :D
