Show one product in one language and not another

if you have multiple languages is there a way to show a product in one language and not in another. For example,i have books in Portuguese and in English and i would like the portuguese books to show only on the Portuguese version of the shop and the English ones on the English version.

Its possible - you could assign a languages_id to the product itself.

 

It would be quite a bit of coding to implement, but not difficult :)

Or if you are not a coder you could install 2 versions of oscommerce, 1 english_books - 2 portugese_books, from your index make a link to the the shops...

I could be way off base here, but you can go into your admin / product description area and use only one language and delete the other.

 

But you should notice that your have one field for every language ... simply make sure that each field has the correct language.
