When I tested your cart earlier, I thought the site looked very classy and professional. It isn't easy to make black look good, but you have managed it. Well done!

I'm not sure, however, how many would want to buy a Ferrari watch. That said, if that's what someone is in the market for and they find your site, I think they will be be suitably impressed.

Good luck!

Looks great! I'm with spax... looks classy and professional.

Here are a few small things I noticed in firefox:

-If you select a category with no products, you cannot see the standard: " There are no products to list in this category" in Firefox. It's white color font on white background. Looks fine in IE.

- Shopping_cart.php has white background... not sure if this is what you wanted but thought I would mention.

Other then that, it looks great!

have fun!

OK Heres my take...

I like the overall look of the site.

I might put a sub header under the FerrariTime - something clever that says what your product is: "High end watches" or "SportsWatches" or "Fine watches like the cars"- I'd have to brainstorm a bit mine aren't that good but what ever you do you probably don't want to say fast watches. When I first got to your page I wasn't sure what it was about. If I'm a fast guy with a fast car I might close the window before I even know what your selling.

I'm trying to think of your audience. If they own a Ferrari then they are probably doing alright and they are probably used to high end features.

Check out this... Ferrari site

I think this is one of the best car sites Ive ever seen (check out the R8):Audi

Both of these sites are pretty heavy into the flash scene. So taking that into account, at the MINIMUM I would do something with your buttons. I would at least make them highlight when you mouse over. I think your audience might expect a bit more than the average site.

Another thing that I would probably do is to set up a camera and take time-lapse pictures of your watches over a 12 hour period maybe even 24 depending on the watch. Then put them into a flash. Then when you click for a better view you could run the flash movies and see the watches working. Again when you think of your audience they probably can afford the bandwidth so that shouldn't be something that you need to worry about.

I like the product layout better that the new product layout since you can see everything at once. If there is scrolling involved then there is a chance that someone could miss something.

Somewhere on this site someone posted a list of top 10 things or so to have on your site ( I cant remember -so sorry original poster) - but one of the things that they said was to make sure you have a very detailed description of your product. When you go to the store you can hold a product and look at it. On the web you just have a picture. How and where are your watches made. Is the band leather? How is it powered? Why should I buy one of these? Why shouldn't I just run down to Target and get one for $9.99...

I like the fact that its not cluttered with lots of stuff. Like a Ferrari - your site is clean and neat, and I would keep it that way but you also need to make it sparkle...

Clean & classy. I agree that it isn't 100% self explanatory upon first glance - either a subheading or a watch graphic would convey the message. Also, you may consider a currency converter / listing USD to reach a broader market. Nice work overall.

its got the makings of a very good site indeed.

considering 'black' is very difficult to use as a background I am surprised to see the number of sites achieving wonders with it.

You dont need the image pop-up in product info you are displaying more than image already large enough on the same page and the image doesnt need to be in the cart - good luck

Upon receiving fixes and advice, too many people don't bother to post updates informing the forum of how it went. Until of course they need help again on other issues and they come running back!

Why receive the information you require in good faith for free, only to then have the attitude to ignore the people who gave it to you?

There's no harm in saying, 'Thanks, it worked'. On the contrary, it creates a better atmosphere.
