General Payment Question!! Please help me!

I have a question on how to "add" charges, and request payment AFTER THE INITIAL SALE HAS COMPLETED.

For instance .. here is the chain of events :

- Customer buys a product

- Customer pays for product

- Shipping costs turn out to be TOO LOW

- Now... I need to request more $$$ from the customer to cover the shipping!!

So, how do I :

1) Send a request for more money ??

2) Allow the customer to pay with a credit card or whatever method again??

If the customer uses Paypal I can send a paypal request for money, but what about a credit card payment?

Hope somebody can help ... I'm sure others must do this from time to time.

Thank you!

You really need to sort out your shipping so that charges are not too low >_<

You can send a Paypal payment request to anybody, whether they have a Paypal account or not :)
