Hi

would it be possible to have the name of the catergory that you are on ' instead of lets see what we have'

I can change that but it would like it to change for the exact page....

**** define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Product page of %s '); *********

it would say

Product Page of XYZ when you went to xyz et ete etc

Product Page of abc

my limited knowledge above did not work but sure it is possible -

thanks

Russell

ps I have to suggestion list if not avaliable... I think this would make a good feature

Sorry about the last post. the forum hosed up.

look in your index.php

for this

?>
<td width="100%" valign="top"><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
  <tr>
	<td><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
	  <tr>
		<td class="pageHeading"><?php echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td>
<?php
// optional Product List Filter

change to this

?>
<td width="100%" valign="top"><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
  <tr>
	<td><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
	  <tr>
		<td class="pageHeading"><?php if (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['manufacturers_id'])) {
	$category_query = tep_db_query("select manufacturers_name from " . TABLE_MANUFACTURERS . " where manufacturers_id = '" . (int)$HTTP_GET_VARS['manufacturers_id'] . "'");
	$category = tep_db_fetch_array($category_query);
	if ($category['manufacturers_name'] != "") {echo $category['manufacturers_name'];} else { echo HEADING_TITLE;}
  } else {
	$category_query = tep_db_query("select cd.categories_name from " . TABLE_CATEGORIES . " c, " . TABLE_CATEGORIES_DESCRIPTION . " cd where c.categories_id = '" . (int)$current_category_id . "' and cd.categories_id = '" . (int)$current_category_id . "' and cd.language_id = '" . (int)$languages_id . "'");
	$category = tep_db_fetch_array($category_query);
	if ($category['categories_name'] != "") {echo $category['categories_name'];} else { echo HEADING_TITLE;}
  }
?></td>
<?php
// optional Product List Filter

This will display the catagory name at the top of individual category pages. to add text before the category name ... in the code above find

<td class="pageHeading"><?php if (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['manufacturers_id']))

and change like this

<td class="pageHeading">Your text here <?php if (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['manufacturers_id']))

If you have sub categories this will not change the heading on that page. to do this you need to look further up the page to about line 66 for this

 <td class="pageHeading"><?php echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td>

and change to this:

<td class="pageHeading"><?php echo $category['categories_name'] ?></td>

or for additional text:

<td class="pageHeading">Your text here <?php echo $category['categories_name'] ?></td>

This is a slight variation of the contribution shown above
