Changing new products module

Ok here is what I want to do, the "new products module" i want to change it to a column instead of rows, currently the module will align new products in a horizontal row 3 wide, and then ad columns vertically depending on how many you want to display.

What I want it to do is display 1 product in a horizontal row and then create a vertical column for the next product.

so instead of

product - product - product

product - product -product

I want

product

product

product

and so on.

I am pretty sure this would be edited in the includes/modules/new_products.php

I have been playing with the code but as i change it i can only get it to display either fewer products or only one row, I cant get it to make a new column for each one.

Here is the module code.

<?php
