Check that you didn't accidentally upload the /languages/english/index.php to the main admin directory.

I should also mention i have not changed anything like file wise i went to a new server (with new software like php mysql and httpd) but no changes were made to any of the oscommerce files :)

This is correct (which you have)

; Initialize session on request startup.
session.auto_start = 0

Set to 1 has been known to cause this problem, but yours is elsewhere.

Ok UPDATE I have got it working but I don?t know if what I edited was bad

In my log files I came across this error

PHP Fatal error: Cannot re-assign $this in /home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/store/admin/includes/classes/upload.php on line 25

so in the upload.php file I have

$this = null;

so I omited it out with //

so new line is

// $this = null;

Once it?s omited out the site admin area loads up.

So my question is what does that variable do $this

Thanks any ideas?

Steven

Also would be nice if site admin or mod would edit my post and take out my php.ini file so its not as long :)

Hmmm, my adminarea is blank as well. And I'm using the latest stable release... Soooo, I don't have this line in the mentioned file...

Nor have I 100% control over my php.ini, since the site is situated on a webhost...

Now, the funny thing is that it worked earlier, and I just can't figure out what has happened to make it behave like this...

And yes, I've checked all the above suggestions before posting ;)

Help, anyone?
