installation with global variables off

Hi,

 

I 've been trying to install OSC latest version on a shared web server. I tried both patches Vger and CHMOD 1.5 patch. In both occasions I set 777 on the both configure.php files. The server is PHP 5.

 

The message I m getting is

 

Table 'eboa.configuration' doesn't exist

 

where eboa is the name of my db.

 

I search a lot the forum and the web but I cannot undertsand the root of this problem. Both patches returned the same error and there is no table created on my database. The reasonable thing is that it's trying to access a table before it created(?) I wonder why...
