Category Description

I get the feeling I am missing something, I would like to get a description of the product category above the product images ?

 

 

I have seen and tried things that seem to say they will do this, but nothing has worked yet, can anyome put me in the right direction

There are two contributions that will add that option: Header Tags and Categories Description. Header Tags is the better choice since it also optimizes your categories/products for the search engines.
