no login for administration panel

Hello,

 

have successfully installed os commerce on server with mysql db.

 

But the problem is, that there is no login required for the administration panel.

 

So everybody who find it, is now able to administrate my testshop ( so you get no link here of course).

 

How could I built in a login?

 

But also I cannot undestand that there is no loginscript already builtin in this shop. Isn?t it essential???

If you read the osCommerce documentation page 9 - it is the last line of the instructions.

 

"You need to .htaccess your /catalog/admin/ directory so that it is password protected. You can use the password manager in your server admin panel like cPanel."
