1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax

Hi,

 

I am new to mysql and osCommerce, I am getting this message when I try to open certain pages :

 

"1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-12, 12' at line 1

 

select p.products_id, pd.products_name, p.products_price, p.products_tax_class_id, p.products_image, s.specials_new_products_price from products p, products_description pd, specials s where p.products_status = '1' and s.products_id = p.products_id and p.products_id = pd.products_id and pd.language_id = '1' and s.status = '1' order by s.specials_date_added DESC limit -12, 12"

 

This message repeats with the difference being the 2nd paragraph as it changes according to the page requested.

 

Can anyone pls help?
