the easiest way I can think of would be to remove the .htaccess file from your catalog/admin files and then log into C-panel which most hosts have, and used the "password protect directories" function to add a new user/pass to the admin directory.

 

Otherwise contact your host for assistance.

Well, I must be stupid or something - I couldnt find the htaccess file anywhere. I went into my CP for the host where I have my site located, looked all through there, didnt find it.

I'll email the host guy and see if he can maybe find something in there for me. Thanks.

Once I actually do manage to get back into my admin for osComm, I'm sure I'll be back on here asking more setup and change questions LOL
