shpy Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 I have 3 domain : domainA , domainB, domainC. When first install, i worked on domainA, so everything are based on domainA/ (links, sitemaps .v.v.). Now i want to use domainB,domainC on the host (folder) of domainA to have the system "3 domain for 1 shop". In the domain CP, i set the directory of domainB,domainC to the directory of domainA. And when i type domainB (or C) it work (show the shop) but wenh i click any thing, the link will be reset to domainA/.... I had search for a contribution with this feature but i found nothing. Somebody help me !!! Paint for VietNamese :

shpy Posted November 5, 2006 Author Posted November 5, 2006 At my country, the shop can't use PayPal :( . I found that can use 2-3 or more domains for 1 shop by edit a litte in configure.php. But all link just only domainA/ . Now, i know that is because i use "Page cache" contribution. Paint for VietNamese :

I don't know why you would want to do it, but you can setup your three domains under the same host and just connect them to the same database..... You'd have to hard code for any changes in names, etc in the emails that get sent out also. Just between us, remember there are only 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand binary and those who don't!! Remember, learning is a "do-it-yourself" experience; although, not necessarily a "do-it-BY-yourself" experience. The quickest way to learn is to forget to BACKUP!
drew68 Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 this seems impossible to do... 3 domians to point to one cart? anyone?
hansmignon Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 this seems impossible to do... 3 domians to point to one cart? anyone? I think it is possible. Create a new hosting voor your second domain name. Upload all the files and change everything to the second domainname. Connect to the same database. I think this should work.
