keress Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 Our admin was working fine for a good while, now, without making any changes we are getting this error message: Fatal error: Cannot re-assign $this in /home/ncwoodco/public_html/catalog/admin/includes/classes/upload.php on line 31 What could be going on? Thanks

keress Posted November 4, 2006 Author Posted November 4, 2006 Thanks Jack. I've been looking, but I don't know where to look for that. Could you please point me in the right direction? Thanks

keress Posted November 6, 2006 Author Posted November 6, 2006 Upgrading seems pretty intimidating. I haven't done one yet. What happens to all the contributions I have installed? (I don't even remember all of them.) Is it as bad as I'm imagining?
keress Posted November 6, 2006 Author Posted November 6, 2006 Also, any clue why this problem suddenly arose. I was in this cart's admin last week, no problem.
Jack_mcs Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 The installation can be difficult if you have installed contributions that change the same code. If not, it goes in pretty easily. The good part is that each change (except where noted) can be installed by itself so you don't have to install it all (although you should). The problem probably happned due to your host changing the php version. keress Posted November 8, 2006 Author Posted November 8, 2006 I'm assuming the 20060817.txt document included in the patch is listing all the changes made in the patch. Can't I just manually insert those changes the way I would most contribs?
