squiffythewombat Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Hi Guys, My site was running fine untill today, now when i try to click the "create account" or "login" buttons on the index page i get nothing. http://www.myaddy.com/login.php works fine but https://www.myaddy.com/login.php doesnt! Could it be that the SSL sever is just down as everything was working perfectly before and ive not changed anyting? my site is wwwDOTsemodelsDOTcom Any info would be great as im somewhat a newbie and still trying to learn these things! Toby
Jack_mcs Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 If it was working with ssl before, then it seems to be server related. You should contact your host to see what the problem is. Guest Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 It looks like an issue with your DNS, or the SSL is bound to the wrong IP address. If it worked before you should contact your webhost as they probably changed something on the server.

Toby You know, this is really strange, because all of a sudden I am seeing a ton of these posts with the same question, and it is also the same that is happening to me. I don't know if this is even possible, but could it be something in the osC code that is incompatible with IE7? I'm just trying to explore all the possibilities here, because with mine, it seems to have started right after I upgraded the browser. All of my hard-coded links are secure, so I'm wondering if it could be something in the tep_image or the tep_href functions clashing with IE7? Cathi

Cathi I have IE7 on my other PC and have no probs. creating accounts, login etc. However IE7 constantly crashes when I try to open new tabs and gives error messages when I close it myself!( I know not an osCommerce problem-Just venting!) Cathi Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 I wonder if that makes any difference? I am really grasping at straws here, I'm that frustrated with this. Right now I'm removing all the code from the page piece by piece to see if I can figure out the cause. Cathi ps... However IE7 constantly crashes when I try to open new tabs and gives error messages when I close it myself!( I know not an osCommerce problem-Just venting!)knock on wood, I haven't been having those issues :-"
