Help Ordering Items

Hi,

I work for a web design company, and I just got an OSCommerce project thrown at me. I've never used this before, but i've read through what documentation I could find.

I need to reorder the way the catagories are listed on the right, as well as what items are displayed on the front page.

 

I know my company bought a template, is this something that has to do with that, or is it something a module can fix?
