warleb Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Just trying to do some tests regarding credit card transaction from my site. When setting up the payment option I have entered my vendor name which was given by protx. Do i not need have a password here as well. Not sure if I am doing this right! I don't bother doing backups. I love the thrill of screwing it all up!
warleb Posted November 2, 2006 Author Posted November 2, 2006 Did some digging about and finally got something to work. In the VSP Simulater in protx I can see that transactions coming in but it seems that the return message from protx is not correct in oscommerce. I would expect it to go to the checkout success but it does not. Instead it takes me to the checkout process where you enter all your credit card details with a message in the address bar saying the following: ....../store/checkout_payment.php?error_message={0DF02ADB-6B9D-45DD-AC9E-41A939D3F210}%20-%20Your+credit+card+could+not+be+authorized+for+this+reason.+Please+correct+any+i nformation+and+try+again+or+contact+us+for+further+assistance. Is this what you would expect or should it go to the checkout success page? 6619882979383134 02/11/2006 13:35:33 356.00 (GBP) 2677 Successfully registered VSP Direct transaction. Guest Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 This is an issue I recently discovered where the protx direct module was not correctly parsing the response in sumulator mode but test & live modes were fine. This has been addressed and fixed in the new version (Protx Direct v3.0a) Tom
