Module to have CC # processed off-line / not realtime

Hi all,

 

I have a client that is wanting to use her off-line CC processing equiptment to see if her on-line sales justify the extra expense of a merchant account and the like.

 

Does osCommerce natively (or through an additional module) support either storing the encrypted CC# for retrieval, or sending an encrypted email back to her with the CC# to process the order ?

If she's able to process credit cards offline, she already has a merchant account. What she'd need in addition is a payment gateway, which will usually cost around $10-15/month + .05 - .10/transaction.

 

The basic credit card module included will do what you need. It's not encrypted, but it stores half of the number in the admin and the other half is emailed to the store owner.
