how to use STS

Hi,

 

I've download the latest addition of STS and i've managed to install it with no problems, just starting to build my template, but i'm rather confused. currently mysite looks like this www.pulp-stationery.co.uk/shop as you can see i've not got very far. I want to be able to get my site to look something like http://www.ziabeads.com/ which is also an OS site. As you can see on that site the boxes in the left column have been customized and the way the products displayed has been changed.

 

If anyone has some pointers on how i get from mine to the ziabeads site i would be for ever grateful, need to have this site finished 3 weeks
