Order not updating & Session.

There are two issues with this shop.

 

- No Order is created at CheckOut. (I mean, there is NO pending order in the Admin Module, eventhough email is triggered)

 

- The Session value is Lost when clicking the 'Home' link.

 

I am new to osCommerce, so please explain in details. Moreover this is done by another person without leaving any documentation and I am trying to fix this problem.

I don't know about this but I noticed the home link goes to

 

http://www.maternitycupboard.com/catalog/i....php?pages_id=1

 

and all the other links go to

http://www.maternitycupboard.com/catalog/i...php?pages_id=11&osCsid=1028981c2236dc4fe1f589137f999cf1

 

Not sure why it links differently not sure why all then numbers follow the link, my store home button just links to http://www.signature-series.net/catalog/index.php

I don't have all the extra stuff after it, and I have no problem keeping things in the cart no matter if you hit the browser back button or click links. The links might be a place to start.

 

The only other thing I can think of is the includes/configure.php and the admin/includes/configure.php

There are cookies settings in those files that look like this

  define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.signature-series.net');
 define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.signature-series.net');

You might want to make sure they are pointing to your site. I am no expert but it seems like a cookie thing.

My other problem of ORDER not updating is also seems to be a 'Session' issue. When I select 'Cash on Delivery' as the payment option... the CheckOut goes through and the order is shown as 'Processing'.

 

But when I select a Payment Option, the Session is lost. But when I sign-in again, my earlier shopping is shown in the Cart.

 

Does this help to solve the problem?

I'm using 2checkout, i think there are some changes in the 2checkout payment gateway, but they NEVER inform to their customers about the changes. This is because i can do a demo puchase in last few months. And not last few days.

 

Stop my non-sense here :)

I just need to do the 'Approved URL' changes in 2checkout account page. I means login to your 2checkout.com page. And change the 'Approved URL' from,

 

http://www.yoursite.com/checkout_success.php

to

http://www.yoursite.com/checkout_process.php

 

Currently, i'm still do some testing. And hopes this help you. :)
