supastoked Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Hey Folks, Does anyone know if there is some sort of guide that tells you where the specific files are located for various areas in the site? Most of its been pretty self explanatory, either in the root or includes - but there are a couple of things i am trying to find, but not having any luck at all. On the home page, the latest products are listed and the mentally challenged coder before me has hardcoded all kinds of nonsense into the site, as apposed to separating the presentational elements into css, etc. Deep breath, this isnt a rant, just frustrating working with such messy code!!! The colors of the "only ?34.99" under the product thumb are hardcoded some where and i have searched all over, but cant find any reference to the class or inline css thats been used. I checked the css, language files, index, header and pretty much any other file that had a slight resemblance to being linked. Also is there any way to turn on debug mode, something that would tell you were a specific section code is located (which file, etc). I've used this with virtuemart before and its a great time saver. Not sure if oscommerce has anything like this..? Any help would be much appreciated! Cheers, Chris
