uploading & install

Hello,

I have been trying to get this cart up and working. i have no idea with what i'm working here. On the guide to quick install, step 3, tells me to upload the catalog folder to my document root using FTP ? and create a database using phpMyadmin? i am trying to reach http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/osCommerce/I...nd_Upgrades/225 . where i can install. i need help please.
