Fail on Step 2 for windows xp home

Apache 2.2.3

mysql 4.1.9

 

When in the step 2 database import, I enter the database I created from MS-DOS mysql command. Follow the procedure in osCommerce 2.2 Docs. Once I hit continue then goes to next screen

Database Import it screen won't return anything , just sit over there ? Any help

Most likely related to PHP5. Do a search for "register_globals" and "long_arrays".

 

Both settings will most likely have to be altered for you installation to work.

 

Alternatively, using PHP4 should prevent those issues.
