How do find out what version of osc I am running

I bought my website as a package fully loaded with products. I want to load more products onto it and have seen on this forum diffferent ways of doing this, but the controls don't look anything like what I have. So, how do I find out what version of osc I am running, and how do I update it to a new version if I need to?

i am not too sure, but go to includes/configure.php and look for

 

define('DB_DATABASE', 'anyname_osc2');

 

I think this tells u that it's version 2 of oscommerce.
