jperrell Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 The totals with tax and shipping that are visible to the the user in checkout process are correct, but when trying to checkout paypal rejects saying the totals don't match up. I've set both the tax padding and currency (us dollar) to '2'. Would like to be able to see the other total that is being calculated if anyone has any ideas where to find this. location of API calls perhaps..? where or how might i set up to look through these? Have gone through all of the 'tax rounding incorrectly' threads such as this one: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?sho...mp;#entry130452 The tep_round related stuff had apparently already been updated in the version of osc I have. Tax was set to not apply to shipping. I even eventually went and changed the order of calculation to apply the shipping after the tax was applied to the item total just in case. Meaningful. Creative. jperrell Posted October 29, 2006 Author Posted October 29, 2006 well, it's definitely a problem with the sales tax calculation, not the shipping. People out of state w/o sales tax applied works fine. Anyone with any ideas about tax calculations being screwey please help! Meaningful. Creative. Change.
jperrell Posted October 29, 2006 Author Posted October 29, 2006 wow i guess i should be happy to have figured this out but after like three days of reading through back threads about osc tax rounding stuff and whatnot.. The issue with the paypal rejecting credit card purchases for having purchase total calculations not agree (error 10520) went away when i set 'display sales tax' to 'false' in admin. hope this helps someone else someday. goodnight all Meaningful.
